About the Opportunity:

The American Lung Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to oversee our development efforts in Los Angeles. As the lead fundraiser in the market, you will be responsible for growing our base of support, managing a personal portfolio of local corporate prospects, and building strong relationships with volunteer board and event committee members.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Non-Profit Management, Marketing, or a related field. You must also have a minimum of eight years of experience in non-profit management, with a successful track record of revenue generation through peer-to-peer special events and corporate development. Additionally, you should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to work effectively with volunteers and staff.
