Fitness Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Trainer to join our team at Hunterdon Health Care System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fitness assessments, developing exercise programs, and orienting clients on proper equipment use. They will also provide assistance to ensure exercise safety and maintain quality fitness assessment skills.

1. Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service to clients.
2. Develop and implement exercise programs that meet the needs of clients with varying fitness levels and goals.
3. Conduct regular fitness assessments and provide feedback to clients on their progress.
4. Collaborate with other fitness professionals to ensure a seamless and safe exercise experience for clients.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in fitness training.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A bachelor's degree in physical education, exercise physiology, adult fitness, or a related field.
• Certification from an accredited agency for personal training or exercise specialist.
• At least one year of experience in a fitness facility, including basic fitness testing and exercise prescription.
• CPR/AED and first aid certification.

A personal training certification and experience working with clients with special needs would be an asset.
