Fitness Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Trainer to join our team at Hunterdon Health Care System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fitness assessments, developing exercise programs, and orienting clients on proper use of equipment. They will also provide assistance to ensure exercise safety and maintain quality fitness assessment skills.

1. Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service to clients.
2. Develop and implement exercise programs that are tailored to individual client needs and goals.
3. Conduct fitness assessments and provide feedback to clients on their progress.
4. Assist clients with equipment use and provide guidance on proper exercise techniques.
5. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest fitness trends and best practices.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, or related field preferred.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required; Personal training certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a fitness facility, including basic fitness testing and exercise prescription.
