About the Opportunity

The Federal Reserve Bank is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in collaborating with leading tech professionals to strengthen and protect our economic, financial, and payments systems.

You will provide research and analysis to identify appropriate solutions and provide recommendations to solve problems and issues related to our Information Technology Services Demand and Portfolio Management department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing complex analysis of major business issues and searching for sustainable solutions using established methodology and tools.
  • Reviewing and conducting analysis of budget, forecast, and actual expenditures within FedPPM (Clarity) and providing timely, relevant, and accurate reporting of the results of our organization's performance.
  • Reviewing, compiling, and analyzing detailed and complex statistics and data for major business issues and providing guidance and collaboration in completing analysis, information, or process mapping, and/or alignment of the business and related areas.
  • Leading process improvement and solution discussions and presenting outcomes and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Developing and designing new processes of major and critical nature and coordinating the updating of existing business processes.
  • Leveraging technical expertise to develop reports and dashboards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a business, finance, or technical field.
  • Advanced or Senior level experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to all audiences.
  • Experience with Excel Pivot tables, Jaspersoft, and Tableau/Power BI.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
