About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Physical Electrical Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a key member of our multi-discipline team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality substation designs for our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design efficient and reliable high voltage substations under the leadership of the Supervising Engineer.
  • Coordinate design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion.
  • Assist the Estimating Team in preparation of estimates and project proposals.
  • Provide technical specifications for electrical equipment, evaluate proposals from vendors, and review vendor drawings.
  • Deliver accurate and thorough designs that meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Resolving site queries, attending site meetings, and performing site inspections during the construction phase of projects.
  • Maintain complete project documentation with respect to substation design and construction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of working experience in high-voltage substation design for renewable developers and electrical utility clients.
  • Registered as a PE or meet eligibility criteria.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including client relations, project team communications, and proposal and report development.
