Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Security Officer (FSO) Duties:
    • Lead the Industrial Security office to ensure the safeguarding of national security information and adherence to 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
    • Collaborate with senior management and diverse teams to deliver immediate and sustainable security solutions.
    • Utilize expertise and independent judgment to maintain a robust security program that aligns with government and corporate security standards.
    • Support all classified initiatives and coordinate with Computer, Physical, and Personnel Security teams to ensure compliance.
    • Manage the safeguarding, control, and accountability of classified materials and information.
    • Develop and deliver various training programs, including annual security training for cleared personnel.
    • Interpret and enforce compliance with Contract Security Classification Specifications and Security Classification Guides.
    • Oversee classified visit requests and manage classified meetings.
    • Coordinate foreign travel programs and assist with foreign visitors.
    • Conduct security inspections and assessments as required by government policy.
    • Investigate security incidents and prepare official reports.
    • Administer Security Education and OPSEC programs.
  • Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) Duties:
    • Manage all security functions for special access classified programs, ensuring compliance with JFAAN, Intelligence Community Directives, NISPOM, and customer requirements.
    • Prepare and maintain personnel security records for Special Program access.
    • Initiate special investigations and submit personnel access requests.
    • Assist in the management of classified systems and facilities.
    • Conduct security training specific to special program requirements.
    • Lead on-site program inspections and assessments as mandated by regulations.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience in DoD Industrial Security and Special Access programs.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thorough knowledge of 32 CFR (NISPOM) and experience with DISS and NISS.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
