Volt Workforce Solution is seeking an experienced Semiconductor Packaging Expert to join our team in Richardson, TX.

Job Description

We are immediately hiring a qualified individual with expertise in semiconductor packaging processes such as dicing, cleaving, die-attach and wire bonding, seam sealing and fiber optic coupling and associated semi-automatic and fully automatic machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support manufacturing to produce high-quality semiconductor DBR laser diodes.
  • Optimize the continuous flow of production and minimize cycle time in the Packaging area.
  • Implement methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
  • Meet or exceed new product development goals by supporting aggressive timelines.
  • Contribute to yield and performance improvements for existing and new devices.
  • Maintain accurate Packaging documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of semiconductor packaging materials like epoxies, solders and packages including those used for photonics (laser diode) packaging.
  • Familiarity with material properties of packaging materials such as thermal conductivity, viscosity, outgassing, etc.
  • Demonstrated hands-on problem-solving skills to resolve process, packaging and equipment issues in a timely manner.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $22-$24 per hour. Volt Workforce Solution offers benefits (based on eligibility) including health, dental, vision, term life, short-term disability, AD&D, 401(k), sick time, and other paid leaves (as required by law).
