Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Senior Production Planner to enhance our operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in engineering and a proven ability to manage project schedules effectively. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will be integral to the strategic planning and execution of our initiatives. The Senior Production Planner will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain departments to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain comprehensive master schedules for all active projects, ensuring integration of inputs from various disciplines.
2. Conduct routine schedule reviews with project teams, identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to guarantee the availability of materials and resources according to project timelines.
4. Manage the preparation and distribution of RFQs, ensuring timely responses.
5. Implement strategies for cost reduction to enhance profitability while maintaining quality and timelines.
6. Assess project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
7. Provide regular updates to management regarding project status, risks, and modifications.
8. Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
9. Continuously enhance planning and scheduling processes, tools, and systems for improved efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a planning or scheduling capacity within the engineering sector.
3. Strong understanding of cost reduction techniques and RFQ processes.
4. Familiarity with materials management and integrated planning methodologies.
5. Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
6. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
7. Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to complex challenges.
10. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
