We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at Zupka & Associates. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for planning and conducting audits and review procedures for our governmental and non-profit clients.

You will work closely with our Partners and Managers to enhance client relationships and contribute to the growth of new business opportunities.

This role requires a combination of independence, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits and review procedures for governmental and non-profit clients.
  • Engage directly with Partners and Managers on client and engagement management issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' internal accounting and auditing departments.
  • Assist in reinforcing existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop staff accountants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit within public accounting.
  • Strong understanding of governmental accounting and auditing standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
