About the Role

Ampcus Inc, a global provider of technology and business consulting services, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team as a Staff Accountant, Forensic Accounting. This role will play a critical part in our forensic accounting practice, assisting in the quantification of insurance claims and economic damages, and preparing various analyses, financial models, and reports for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Gather key facts through interviews, research, and analysis of financial and non-financial data.
  • Input data into Excel, including financial statements, payroll, and invoices.
  • Perform quality review on workpapers and reports to identify and correct errors.
  • Work closely with senior staff to assist in financial analyses, building models, and maintaining documents.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports that can be understood by non-accountants.
  • Be flexible and responsive to client needs, available for meetings at times and in places stipulated by the client.
  • Operate as an effective and contributing member of our team, collaborating with other team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Willingness to obtain certification(s) to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in key related skills.
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with forensic accounting experience beneficial but not required.
  • A valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure, and deadlines.
  • Skilled at building relationships with others.
  • Fluency in English is required, with additional languages beneficial but not required.
