Key Responsibilities- Perform EKG and other cardiac-related tests to diagnose and monitor patients
- Operate medical equipment such as EKG machines and other diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient tests and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Registered/Active Certification as a Cardiographic Technician or EKG Technician
- One (1) year of experience as a Cardiographic Technician or EKG Technician
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification obtained through the American Heart Association
- Must successfully pass an EKG interpretation test
- Government-Issued photo ID required
- Refer to Unit/Department cost center for certification requirements per unit
- Physical Exam requirement
- Various vaccinations required: Tdap, Negative TB or Chest X-Ray, Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Drug testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start
- COVID primary vaccine(s) required, booster preferred
- Background Check required within 12 months of start
