Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance guest experience areas, ensuring alignment with shipboard leadership for consistency.
  • Prepare and present all crafted cocktails to order, adhering to established presentation standards and utilizing multimedia when appropriate.
  • Follow prescribed guidelines for introducing crafted cocktails, effectively using audio and visual aids.
  • Collaborate with the Bar Manager to analyze show timings during voyages and identify peak traffic periods to boost revenue and attendance.
  • Participate in cocktail demonstrations to increase guest engagement.
  • Ensure promotional materials are used effectively.
  • Fulfill beverage orders from the MedallionClass application promptly to maintain a positive guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and welcoming environment for guests in accordance with brand standards.
  • Anticipate and address guest needs proactively.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge to answer inquiries regarding products, policies, demographics, itineraries, and ports.
  • Ensure that bar service team members embody the company’s values and present a positive, professional image at all times.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Preferably a graduate from a recognized hospitality or bar operation program.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a hospitality or cruise-related bartending role.
  • Experience with Molecular Mixology or bar shows is essential.
  • Knowledge of USPH standards and the beverage industry, particularly in wines, cocktails, spirits, and service execution.
  • Exceptional bartending skills with the ability to lead and motivate a large team.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and make decisions that enhance the guest experience.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong foundation in guest service principles; commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Drive to excel in all job responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to consistently delight guests throughout their cruise experience.
