About the Job

• The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments.
• As Housekeeping Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular inspections of guestrooms to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
• You will be responsible for preparing and monitoring VIP rooms, special guests, and requests, as well as coordinating activities with other departments to enhance communication and guest satisfaction.
• A key aspect of this job is maintaining accurate logs and room status and assigning/reassigning room lists to room attendants.
• You will support and supervise houseperson and laundry attendants and issue proper keys to authorized personnel.
• You will train on cleanliness standards, lead daily stand-up meetings, and pre-shift briefings, and promote hotel rules and regulations intended for guest safety and welfare.
• You are required to be aware and respond to possible situations with guests regarding cleanliness of hotel public areas and guestrooms.
• Your focus should be on quality and cleanliness Brand standards and meeting expectations of guests daily.
• You demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes, and manage lobby areas, including overall maintenance, daily upkeep, and cleanliness.
• You provide services that go above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
• You ensure associates have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to perform their jobs.
• You serve as a role model demonstrating appropriate behaviors.
• You carry out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
• You train and develop associates on 4 Keys service standards, technical skills, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
• You ensure all associates are safety-conscious and trained in safe work practices.
• You ensure associates exceed service and cleanliness standards.
• You foster open channels of communication between all employees.
• You follow all additional duties assigned by management.

About the Requirements

• Must understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English to effectively communicate.
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment.
• Establish goals and objectives for the department.
• Well-organized, focused, and completes all assigned work.
• Works cohesively with coworkers and all departments as part of a team.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally push/pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning/inspection tasks.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
