The Senior AV Systems Specialist will lead and direct technicians on large and complex projects, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include validating systems, reporting progress, and communicating with project managers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation tasks as noted in the project scope of work
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
Support project managers with site supervision, communication, and documentation
Act as customer liaison and direct on-site change requests
Communicate and coordinate with other trades on site

Requirements:
Ability to effectively communicate with technicians, customers, and colleagues
Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Mature personality with the ability to work in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a workload
Advance PC proficiency
Proven business writing skills
Ability to diagnose complex system problems
Knowledge of advance signal flow for audio, video, and control
Advance understanding of IP networking
Ability to lead site teams on large, complex projects
Ability to perform site surveys
Minor control system programming changes and troubleshooting capabilities
Knowledge and use of specific test equipment for required applications
Knowledge and application of industry installation safety codes and standards
Industry specific and manufacturer training/certifications
Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to travel extensively

Preferred:
Formal education in Audio Visual, Electronics, or related field
OSHA Certified
Confirmed Project Site Lead Role experience
Ability to obtain formal approved clearances
Experience with Enterprise VC solutions
AVIXA CTS-I preferred

Work Environment:
Varies depending on client site
Preferred Location(s): Dallas, TX or Houston, TX or Atlanta, GA

Travel:
Expect 100% travel to client locations
