Neuropsychologist for Transplant Patients in Phoenix

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. As a member of our integrated transplant team, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to patients receiving organ transplants, living donors, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct pre-surgical evaluations for the transplant surgery team
- Provide follow-up care for patients who experience challenges post-surgery
- Partner with the integrated transplant sub-teams to deliver excellent care while improving the quality of life of our patients and their family members
As a Neuropsychologist on our team, you will provide a range of services, including:
- Pre-transplant evaluations to assess patients' mental health and readiness for transplant
- Outpatient and inpatient clinical consultation to address patients' psychological needs
- Therapy sessions to support patients and their families in coping with the transplant process
- Collaboration with the transplant team to develop comprehensive care plans
- Ph.D. in Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology
- Completed an APA-accredited clinical internship and licensure by the applicable state Board of Psychologist Examiners
