Job Summary
Phoenix Children's is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Advanced Heart Failure – Cardiac Transplant Team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex heart failure cases and performing cardiac transplants in pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with heart failure and cardiac transplant needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in research and academic activities to advance the field of pediatric cardiology
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs for fellows, residents, and medical students
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Arizona
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited 3-year fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology and additional 1-2 years of advanced subspecialty training in pediatric advanced heart failure
