Evening Medical Laboratory Technologist

As an Evening Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will utilize your laboratory expertise to conduct and report results of well-defined laboratory procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes. You will be responsible for your assigned shifts and may be required to work overtime or be on call as necessary. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Organize, identify, and prioritize specimens to guarantee accurate and timely processing of tests.
+ Execute and report on requested laboratory procedures efficiently.
+ Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, routine maintenance of instruments, and manage inventory effectively.
+ Verify patient identification to minimize analytical errors and enhance patient safety.
+ Analyze and assess data to draw appropriate conclusions.
+ Promote continuous learning and professional development.
+ Accomplish assigned objectives.
Qualifications:
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
No prior experience is necessary, but completion of an accredited Medical Technology program is required.
Licensure and Certification:
Minimum:
Temporary state licensure and/or national registration or certification in accordance with current federal and/or state regulations. Full licensure must be achieved within six months of the hire date.
