TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering medications as needed
  • Assist the physician during procedures, including monitoring the patient's vital signs and providing support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
