Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled all-source intelligence analyst to contribute to our operations at USSPACECOM J2/JIOC. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys conducting thorough research, and proactively identifies new areas for in-depth analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis utilizing intelligence and information from diverse sources to evaluate, interpret, predict, and clarify a range of national security issues and developments that are either regional or functional.
  • Provide comprehensive all-source analytic support to collection efforts, operations, and other defense intelligence analytic needs.
  • Structure analysis based on reporting trends and a variety of analytic viewpoints from fellow analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while engaging with and fulfilling analysis and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with DEFSMAC and NASIC to enhance information sharing, drive collection efforts, and resolve analytic disputes.
  • Develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence, including contributions to PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership briefings.
  • Salary range is between $90,000 and $94,000.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, or a willingness to obtain a CI poly if not currently held.
  • A minimum of three years of all-source intelligence experience with a bachelor's degree, or seven years of experience without a bachelor's degree.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background investigation is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Desired Experience: At least eight years of analytical experience, with a portion of that experience within the last two years.
  • Desired Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Familiarity with DIA production guidelines and dissemination processes is preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with USSPACECOM or its components and the space mission is advantageous.
