Key Responsibilities:

The Process Optimization and Automation Analyst will:

  • Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders to define requirements for technical solutions that align with business goals.
  • Engage in joint application design sessions to ensure deliverables are effective, dependable, and adhere to both internal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Developers and IT teams to offer insights on solutions, fixes, and enhancements.
  • Create and/or evaluate testing plans, including capacity assessments that may involve business resources for executing test cases, estimating test case volumes, and timelines.
  • Identify potential risks and establish systematic controls.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SQL, Oracle, SMSS, Python, JSON, XML, HTML, R, Power BI, Power Automate, AWS, Snowflake, and GIT.
  • Expertise in organizational and process management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in researching automation opportunities, identifying patterns, delivering results, and understanding impacts in a complex environment.
  • Strong grasp of root cause analysis methodologies, tools, and applications.
  • Familiarity with decision rule coding/programming.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with web-based applications.
  • Background in financial services or a related sector.
  • Experience in leading project teams, with Project Management/Business Analyst Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with governance processes and procedures.
