About the Role

As a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and pharmacy consulting services to our community. You will work closely with local physicians and medical professionals to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
  • Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
  • Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and drive continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team's development.
  • Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination.
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing.
  • Maintaining any continuing education requirements.
  • Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.
  • Covid-19 Vaccination.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.

Compensation will vary based on region. For the state of Maryland only, expected pay is $120,000 - $135,000 annually.
