Job Opportunity: Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT)

New Communities Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) to join our team. As a MHRT, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with persistent mental health challenges in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in achieving their goals through a personalized plan
  • Encourage change through a positive reinforcement approach
  • Administer medication as prescribed
  • Promote and encourage client community integration and inclusion
  • Transport clients to recreational and social outings using company vehicles
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Active driver's license
  • Experience in direct care preferred, but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers
