Role Overview
As an Applied Scientist specializing in generative video technologies, you will play a crucial role in advancing our capabilities in this exciting field. Your contributions will directly influence the development of innovative solutions that enhance video storytelling and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and create models to push the boundaries of generative video technologies, focusing on areas such as video in-painting, super resolution, text-to-video conversion, background removal, and neural background rendering.
- Design and implement sophisticated neural network models tailored for generative video applications, utilizing innovative techniques to manipulate and enhance video content.
- Investigate new methodologies and techniques to improve video storytelling, including research into novel generative approaches applicable in video production and editing.
- Develop tools and systems that harness machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computational techniques to generate, manipulate, and enhance video content, prioritizing usability and scalability.
- PhD in computer science or a related discipline, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong publication record in generative video techniques and applications, ideally as the primary author.
- Proficient understanding of video processing techniques, including video compression, motion estimation, and object tracking, with the ability to apply these in generative video contexts.
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, with practical experience in designing, training, and deploying neural networks for video-related tasks.
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
