Franchise Development Manager: Automotive Franchise Growth Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Franchise Development Manager to join our team at TBC Corporation. As a key member of our franchise growth strategy, you will be responsible for recruiting and awarding new franchises of our best-in-class auto care brand, Big O Tires.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow our franchise business, including identifying new franchisee candidates and existing expandable franchisees.
  • BUILD relationships with all business units and stakeholders involved in the franchise system, including transaction management, real estate, operations, legal, and integration.
  • Identify and create strategic development opportunities through business brokers, real estate entities, other franchise systems, existing Big O Tires franchisees, and complementary or competing businesses in the automotive field.
  • Lead candidates through a complex, multi-stage process to educate them about our franchise opportunity and obtain approval as franchisees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; minimum 2-4 years of experience in high-growth franchise sales, with transferable skills such as SAAS, financial, or regulated professional selling.
  • Sales mentality/results-driven, proven team player with verifiable results, ability to work with interdepartmental shared services corporate support model, and negotiating skills with a win-win mindset.
  • Strong business acumen, thorough understanding of key financial metrics, ratios (cash flow, break-even, profitability, ROI, labor, controllable expenses), and operational drivers in retail tire/service environments.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with bilingual language skills in Spanish/English a plus.
