About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team at Oceanic Solutions in Bonn. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and highly available private cloud infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain IT architectures, conduct requirement analyses, and create technical documentation and frameworks.
  • Design architectures for highly secure and highly available private cloud infrastructures, conduct feasibility analyses (PoC), and derive concrete recommendations for action.
  • Coordinate with all involved stakeholders, enforce architecture proposals, and ensure the defined architecture in the production environment.
  • Advise and support technical architecture teams and project teams in terms of technical advancements.
Requirements
  • Successfully completed IT education, e.g., as an IT specialist, or completed studies in computer science.
  • Demonstrable practical experience in designing IT architectures and developing complex technical solutions with a high level of protection.
  • Solid general IT knowledge, particularly in regards to current technologies and technology trends.
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud infrastructures and good knowledge in the areas of networking, storage, PKI, as well as information and communication technologies.
  • Experience in regulated environments and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI C5, etc.) is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a responsible and structured way of working.
