Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach up to 9 credit hours in the Sociology program. The successful candidate will have a Master's, ABD, or Ph.D. degree in sociology or a related field and previous college teaching experience in the discipline.

Responsibilities
  • Teach up to 9 credit hours in one or more three-credit, in-person, undergraduate courses.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction and assessment in courses such as Introduction to Sociology, Stratification, Research Methods, and Environmental Sociology.
  • Develop and implement engaging course materials and activities.
  • Provide feedback and support to students.
Qualifications
  • Master's, ABD, or Ph.D. degree in sociology or a related field.
  • Previous college teaching experience in the discipline is preferred.
