About the Role:

This exciting opportunity involves working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will have the chance to work closely with our medical team, providing direct patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and support
  • Assisting medical providers during treatment and examination of patients
  • Charting accurately and promptly in the EMR
  • Initiating patient education plans with patients and families
  • Rotating among various departments and office sites as needed
  • Keeping exam rooms prepared, cleaned, and stocked; emptying biohazard waste
  • Helping maintain efficient patient flow through communication with healthcare teams
  • Answering telephone and messages in a timely manner within 24 hours
  • Monitoring desktop and sending patient letters/making phone calls daily
  • Answering patient questions as needed and within scope of practice
  • Completing 48-hour chart check daily and filling out appropriate logs as indicated
  • Making lab and specialty appointments for patients
  • Responding to life-saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols within the scope of nursing practice
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • A current Florida License, active and in good standing
  • A current CPR certification
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and holidays.
