Job Overview

Graham Technologies, a leading consulting services firm, seeks an experienced Cloud Computing Professional to join our team in Washington, D.C.

This is a hybrid position that requires a strong background in scripting and programming languages, as well as a deep understanding of cloud services, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and setting up cloud computing networks, establishing front- and back-end platforms, and developing operational cloud-based delivery systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and set up cloud computing networks with seamless connectivity across remotely located servers.
  • Establish front- and back-end platforms to optimize cloud network performance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain operational cloud-based delivery systems, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and security.
  • Utilize scripting and programming languages to implement and optimize cloud infrastructure.
  • Leverage expertise in AWS and other cloud computing technologies to design and implement robust and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud systems for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Active TS Clearance.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and computing.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages relevant to cloud computing, such as Python, Java, or PowerShell.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and setting up cloud computing networks, focusing on AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Able to develop and maintain operational cloud-based delivery systems, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and security.
  • AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize cloud infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, adapting to evolving industry standards.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Well-versed in Windows Operating systems.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Our compensation package ensures equal pay for equal work, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, nationality, or negotiation skills. We also offer a generous benefits package, including four weeks' accrued PTO first year, ten paid federal holidays, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) plan with annual employer contributions, flexible schedules, and reimbursements for continued education and training.
