Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seafood Associate to join our team. As a Seafood Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process seafood deliveries, including breakdown and rotation of stock
  • Weigh, price, and label seafood products
  • Stock cases and select product to meet customer demand
  • Prepare valued-added products, such as filleting and packaging
  • Provide exemplary customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sanitation and food safety standards
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including processing cuts for service counter or special orders
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
  • Job cycles: continual maximum
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand: 55%, sit: 0%, walk: 45%
  • Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
  • Max pull static: 20 lbs.
