Mechanical Superintendent Opportunity at ASRC Federal

ASRC Federal is looking for a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee the Installation Support Services for various locations under the ISS2 contract, primarily supporting our Air Force clientele. This role involves a rotational work schedule, requiring the selected candidate to spend extended periods on-site.

The Mechanical Superintendent will be responsible for leading the Plumbing and HVAC divisions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, enhancing productivity, maintaining high-quality work standards, and coordinating effectively with other project leaders. This position entails supervising a dedicated team and reporting directly to the Site Operations Manager. Key responsibilities include managing projects related to Plumbing/Utilities and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the daily operations of Plumbers and HVAC technicians.
  • Supervise the performance of Plumbers and HVAC Technicians.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations while providing necessary training.
  • Make informed decisions to address challenges, prioritizing safety.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and repair of plumbing systems and HVAC equipment.
  • Effectively utilize MS Office applications.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
  • Organize work schedules and enforce safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate reporting records.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • PMP or similar certification is advantageous.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in plumbing, HVAC operations, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with labor unions is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong organizational, reporting, and administrative skills.
  • Experience in project management is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
