The Mechanical Superintendent will be responsible for leading the Plumbing and HVAC division, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, optimizing productivity, and maintaining high work standards. This position includes supervising a dedicated team and collaborating closely with other project leaders. Key responsibilities encompass managing plumbing utilities and HVAC initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct daily operations for plumbing and HVAC personnel.
  • Oversee the performance of Plumbers and HVAC Technicians.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations while providing essential training.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges with a safety-first approach.
  • Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of plumbing systems and HVAC machinery.
  • Effectively utilize MS Office applications for reporting and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Organize work schedules and enforce safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • PMP or similar certification is advantageous.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in plumbing, HVAC management, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with labor unions is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong skills in reporting, administration, and organization.
  • Experience in project management is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
