We are seeking a skilled Machine Programming Specialist to join our team at US Staffing Agency in Jackson, MI. This is a temporary to permanent position with a competitive hourly rate of $22-$25.

Job Description:

The Machine Programming Specialist will be responsible for assigning work to CNC Technicians and programming computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts from nonferrous metals. The ideal candidate will have basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and communication skills, as well as experience with tasks such as milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, sanding, and filing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign work to CNC Technicians
  • Program CNC machines to fabricate parts
  • Perform first-piece inspection
  • Train CNC Technicians and Tool & Die Makers
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and perform quality assurance checks
  • Schedule machine time based on incoming production orders

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Knowledge of quality assurance programs and techniques
