We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protect patients, visitors, and employees by maintaining access control and responding to emergency situations.
  • Ensure a lawful environment for lifesaving care by enforcing hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other hospital staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in security and patient care.
Requirements
  • Current NYS security guard license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 90 days of starting in role, and continued BCLS certification every two years.
  • Driver's License required.
