Job Title: Behavioral Therapist

River Academy of Excellence is a private academic school that provides innovative, individualized, and empowering education to students in grades K-8.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time behavioral therapist to join our dedicated team of professionals. As a behavioral therapist, you will provide quality therapeutic services to students identified as requiring services in a small private school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily behavioral therapy services to students
  • Maintain daily documentation and communication with families and staff
  • Regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads and promote overall employment success
  • Promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for students and families
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • BCBA, BCaBA, BHC, BHT, or RBT licensed or certified in Behavior in Pennsylvania
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and positive work ethic
