Purpose of Position:

The Flex Production Technician is responsible for leading a team of operators and process helpers in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production workflows, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products by following established procedures and protocols.

Essential Duties and/or Functions:
  • Operate and monitor production workflows, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Assist in the preparation and staging of materials and components for production runs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and prepare reports as required by management.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report daily productivity and assure that all quality checks are being performed.
  • Assure that all proper packaging and labeling methods are being used.
  • Able to approve and receive into our IFS system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory numbers.
  • Train operators and process helpers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report all machine break downs immediately.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
