Job Title: Flex Production Technician

Purpose of Position:

The Flex Production Technician plays a crucial role in leading a team of operators and process helpers in a manufacturing environment. This position requires adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Monitor Production: Ensure the efficient production of high-quality products by following established procedures and protocols.
  • Identify and Report Defects: Identify and report any defects or issues in the production process.
  • Assist in Material Preparation: Assist in the preparation and staging of materials and components for production runs.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production schedules.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of production activities.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit reports as required by management.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report Daily Productivity: Report daily productivity.
  • Ensure Quality Checks: Assure that all quality checks are being performed.
  • Proper Packaging and Labeling: Assure that all proper packaging and labeling methods are being used.
  • Approve and Receive Materials: Able to approve and receive into our IFS system.
  • Maintain Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory numbers.
  • Train Operators: Train operators and process helpers.
  • Maintain a Clean Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report Machine Breakdowns: Report all machine break downs immediately.
  • Provide Feedback and Suggestions: Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Computer skills.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
