We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital, Lynnwood. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of safe and effective patient care in our 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital.
Responsibilities- Assure the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends, and on holidays or when the CNO/NM/Interim is not in the building.
- Assess all departments to ensure continuity of care and report pertinent information to management and administration.
- Effectively communicate unusual occurrences or complaints for follow-up and intervene immediately when needed.
- Ensure the nursing department staff performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Ensure occurrence of appropriate documentation, including documentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records; monitor completion and revisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
- Assist in reviewing and evaluating risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes to continually improve performance and outcomes; communicate this information to the nursing department.
- Assure education and training is provided to nursing staff on Quality Indicators (QIs) and assure timely and accurate QI assessments and scoring are performed.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
- Demonstrates problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital, Lynnwood is a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital that provides comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs to patients throughout their recovery journey. Our rehabilitation programs offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
We offer a competitive salary range of $58.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition assistance/reimbursement, low nurse-to-patient ratios, and a supportive leadership and culture.
