Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical expertise within our Direct Care and Treatment division. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about psychiatric pharmacy and looking to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consultative pharmaceutical care services to patients and inmates.
  • Provide clinical consultations to staff regarding medication management, including drug formularies and medication reviews.
  • Act as a resource for medical and nursing personnel, offering the latest information on drug therapies.
  • Educate students, residents, staff, and community partners on pharmaceutical topics.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and accreditation standards for medication dispensing.
  • Collaborate with community pharmacies and medical providers to establish effective service contracts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in Minnesota.
  • Two years of experience as a clinical pharmacist or completion of a PGY1 residency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing pharmacy services for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Participation in multidisciplinary teams and rounds.
  • Experience in patient education.
  • Board Certification in Psychiatric Pharmacy or Pharmacotherapy.
  • Completion of a PGY2 residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Commitment to cultural responsiveness and diversity in the workplace.
