Thoracic Surgery Opportunity

The Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri School of Medicine & MU Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Thoracic Surgeon to join our team in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with expertise in minimally invasive and/or robotic thoracic surgery, as well as clinical experience in a wide range of malignant and benign non-cardiac thoracic surgery cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex thoracic surgeries, including robotic and minimally invasive procedures
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with thoracic diseases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in medical student, general surgery resident, and fellowship training
