Job Summary

The University of Missouri Department of Surgery is seeking a highly skilled transplant surgeon to lead and grow the central Missouri Region's only Kidney Transplant program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring residents and medical students, and contributing to research and academic activities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow the Kidney Transplant program, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes
  • Teach and mentor general and urologic surgery residents and medical students
  • Contribute to research and academic activities through the MU Surgical Center for Outcomes Research & Effectiveness (MUSCORE) and the Nextgen Precision Health Center
  • Support the overall mission of the Department of Surgery
Requirements
  • MD, MD/PHD, or DO degree
  • General or Urologic Surgery Residency
  • ASTS accredited transplant fellowship program
  • UNOS-certified or eligible as a Primary Surgeon
  • Eligible to obtain a state medical license
