The Hunterdon Center for Surgery, part of Hunterdon Health, is on the lookout for a Surgical Support Specialist to enhance our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Employs technical expertise as a primary direct patient care provider and plays a crucial role within the intraoperative surgical team.
Applies knowledge of growth and development principles to evaluate each surgeon's unique requirements and provides assistance as necessary.
Qualifications:Education - High School Diploma is mandatory.
Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program is preferred, along with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the operating room.
Must exhibit high motivation, leadership qualities, and proficient surgical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Demonstrates initiative and possesses effective problem-solving abilities. Capable of operating all surgical instruments (e.g., laser, bovie, video, etc.) effectively.
