Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment protocols, and departmental policies.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to workplace safety, striving for zero incidents.
  • Adhere to established Quality Management Systems, ensuring all procedures are followed, maintenance records are reviewed, and documentation is completed accurately.
  • Facilitate a smooth workflow in the servicing line, demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve optimal process outcomes.
  • Receive and unpack incoming medical devices, following established protocols for proper assessment and handling.
  • Utilize chemical solutions for the disinfection and sanitization of medical devices and work environments.
  • Operate and monitor ultraviolet (UV) cleaning equipment, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Prepare cleaning and sanitizing solutions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in various roles including assembly, repair, shipment preparation, and testing as required.
  • Provide training to team members as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in computer skills for data entry and navigation across various applications.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential.
  • Capability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas, including safety glasses.
  • Physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods, with frequent walking, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
  • Experience working with cleaning and sanitizing solutions, including diluted bleach.
  • Occasional handling of medical devices that may have been exposed to bodily fluids or contaminants.
  • Ability to lift up to 36 pounds regularly, with potential lifting of up to 42 pounds in specific roles, using material handling equipment as needed.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in electrical mechanical assembly, repair, or testing is preferred but not mandatory.
