Job Summary

Dewberry is seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician to join our Land Surveying department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with field crew preparation, processing field data collection files, and preparing digital terrain models.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field crew preparation and ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Process field data collection files and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare digital terrain models and other survey-related deliverables.
  • Conduct deed, plat, and document research, as well as title and easement reviews.
  • Prepare final plats of as-built, boundary, topographic, and other surveys.
  • Work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of survey experience required.
  • Experience with NCDOT or similar transportation agencies a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work and interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Dependable, conscientious, self-motivated, and driven individual required.
  • Ability to work overtime as required and travel short-term.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check required.
  • Pass a mandatory drug test.
