Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and establish relationships with architects, designers, and facility managers to promote Marvin products and services.
  • Develop and deliver AIA Continuing Educational learning units to architectural firms, showcasing Marvin's expertise and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to assess and develop channel partners' programs, expertise, and services vital to selling to the architectural and commercial segments.
  • Plan and host factory tours with targeted architects, designers, and trade customers to showcase Marvin's products and capabilities.
  • Provide product and technical solutions on individual project opportunities, ensuring that customers receive the best possible outcome.
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight stays, to build relationships and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • A degree in an architectural, construction, or business-related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification, or the ability to obtain one within two years of employment.
  • Proven experience in consultative value proposition sales specifying premium products to architectural/design firms.
  • Fenestration experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • The ability to navigate CAD-based design.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
