Job Title: Data Architect

Raytheon Careers is seeking a highly motivated Data Architect to join our Systems Engineering and Integration program.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Data Architect to design and develop architectures with distributed and tiered applications or real-time data movement with edge devices that use security and encryption protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and analysis of data relationships and schemas
  • Interpretation of various repository systems
  • Concise reporting on data holdings
  • Collaboration with teams at different sites to support data analysis needs
  • Technical savvy and passionate about delivering impactful deliverables
  • Communication of technical plans to technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
  • Atlassian tools with emphasis on Confluence and Jira
  • ServiceNow with emphasis on HelpNow
  • Experience with software development life cycle and coding or scripting experience
  • Experience with application scalability and performance testing
  • Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Database architecture, database modeling, high availability, data storage with company management processes
  • Experience working in an Agile software development framework
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise scale cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data metrics, architecture designs, migrations, and technology ownership
  • Experience performing data analysis and modeling
  • Management of Configuration Databases
  • Experience with data visualization strategies, Model Based System Engineering

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey.

Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience.

Upon completion of the program, based on performance and contributions, participants will be eligible for a career at RTX.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
