We are seeking a skilled Material Handling Specialist to join our team at Openwork in the Northwest area. This is a temporary opportunity to support our client with warehouse operations.

About the Role

This role involves efficiently operating heavy-duty forklifts, transporting large wire rolls, and ensuring accurate processing and timely dispatch to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse environment.
  • Pick and process orders with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining accurate stock records and managing associated paperwork.
  • Load customer orders into vehicles, ensuring prompt and accurate dispatch to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace by storing incoming goods appropriately.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols to promote a secure work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting, with a minimum of one year or more of experience.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $15 per hour wage.
