Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with epilepsy
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk
- Document patient care in medical records
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
This role requires the ability to lift and move patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
Personal Protective Equipment:The Cleveland Clinic follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
