KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all designated rooms and communal spaces to guarantee cleanliness and proper maintenance of furnishings, equipment, and linens.
  • Deliver constructive and impartial feedback to housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and uphold quality standards within the housekeeping division.
  • Ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary supplies, tools, and uniforms, including identification badges and required personal protective equipment.
  • Educate staff on safety protocols and consistently enforce these standards. Identify unsafe practices among team members and provide retraining as needed. Complete investigations for any incidents and implement measures to avert future occurrences.
  • Execute all essential housekeeping tasks, such as bed-making, vacuuming, and general cleaning.
  • Confirm and update the status of any rooms with discrepancies throughout the shift.
  • Carry out opening and closing responsibilities as required.
  • Alert the maintenance team regarding any necessary repairs.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the hotel premises, including parking areas and external entrances.
  • Be available to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred experience in a leadership role within housekeeping.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
