CVU Manager with Financial Acumen

PennState Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as the CVU - Cardiovascular Unit Manager, overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations and financial outcomes of the Transplant program. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will ensure high-quality patient care services that meet regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Transplant Program Director to develop and implement strategies for financial and quality outcomes
- Provide oversight of daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care from pre-transplant to post-transplant
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in allied health or hospital leadership position
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data
- Master's degree in healthcare-related field or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with transplant and/or cardiovascular services
- Managerial and financial experience within a hospital setting
- Ability to understand and produce financial plans and reports
