Job Summary:

At Scottsdale Perinatal LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide general medical care and treatment to patients in a medical facility under the direction of Physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical examinations and implement preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the Physician.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Record physical findings, formulate a plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
  • Discuss cases with Physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Submit healthcare plans and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by Physicians.
  • Prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
  • Refer patients to Physicians for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
  • Consult with patients with diabetic conditions, evaluating their needs for diet plans, blood sugar testing, etc.
  • Responsible for the scheduling and implementation of the Synergy program.

Education/Experience:

Active Arizona Physician Assistant license, active DEA, current certification by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and a minimum of three years of experience in the Healthcare industry, preferably OB/GYN.
